Kisspeptin-10

$70.00

Kissepeptin-10 is a 10-amino acid peptide derived from the KISS1 gene, which is involved in regulating the body’s reproductive hormone system. It works primarily on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. This pathway controls the release of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone, Lutenizing Hormone, and Follicle Stimulating Hormone, which are important for fertility, reproductive health, and aging.

In scientific research, Kisspeptin-10 is studied for several biological activities, including

  • Hormone Regulation: Stimulating the release of hormones such as LH and FSH.
  • Fertility Research: Its potential role in puberty onset, ovulation, and sperm development.
  • Testosterone & Sex-Related Behaviors: It may influence testosterone levels and impact sex-related behaviors, including sex drive.
  • Healthy Aging Research: Kisspeptin signaling may help counteract some age-related declines in reproductive and hormonal function.

Each tablet contains 0.25 mg of Kisspeptin-10 — a precise and convenient format for laboratory research.

What is Kisspeptin-10?

Kisspeptin-10 is a synthetic peptide that acts as a neuroendocrine signaling molecule, meaning it helps the brain communicate with the hormone system. It’s main function in research is to switch on the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal (HPG) axis — the pathway that controls puberty and reproductive hormones.

Research Related to Kisspeptin-10

We’ve gathered some highlighted areas of research related to Kisspeptin-10. While these studies are promising, Kisspeptin-10 isn’t approved as a drug or dietary supplement, which means its use remains limited to research.

Hormone Regulation

In rodent studies, Kisspeptin-10 was shown to raise key reproductive hormones, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). In female rodents in their pre-ovulatory phase, Kissepeptin-10 increased FSH and LH levels, similar to the effects observed in male rodents [1]. Because of this, it’s used in research related to controlling puberty and fertility.

Testosterone & Sexual Behavior

In male goats, they found that intravenous Kissepeptin-10 produced rapid and significant increases in LH and testosterone, showing that the peptide can stimulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis and drive androgen production [2]. In healthy human men, Kisspeptin-10 produced similar results, and brain monitoring found enhancements in brain regions responsible for sexual desire, drive, and sexual feelings of arousal [3, 4].

Aging & Hormonal Decline

Experiments in animals show that boosting kisspeptin signaling — through gene therapy or Kisspeptin-10 — may help maintain reproductive hormones and slow age-related declines in fertility [5].
